ADVENTURE TOURS

PACKAGE #1  (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 1

• Arrival to the lodge. 

• Welcome Cocktail 

• Lodging in a beautiful room with view to the Turrialba Valley or to our tropical gardens. Each room has private bathroom with hot water. 

• Day or night walk on the trails close to the hotel (tour hour depends on the arrival time). 

• Dinner

Day 2 

• Breakfast 

• At 9:00 am departure to the Whitewater Rafting tour on the Pacuare river, rapids class III and IV. The whole day tour includes, transport, safety equipment, specialized bilingual guides and lunch. 

• It's necessary to bring: sandals or water shoes, swimsuit, extra change of clothes, insect repellent, sun block and preferably a water-resistant camera.   

• Return to the hotel at 5:00 p.m. 

• Dinner  

Day 3 

• Breakfast 

• Horse back riding tour in Turrialba Valley and the mountain range while on horseback.

• Return to the hotel 

• Departure from the lodge.

PACKAGE #2 (4 days / 3 nights) 

Day 1

• Arrival to the lodge.

• Lodging in a beautiful room with view to the Turrialba Valley or to our tropical gardens. Each room has private bathroom with hot water. 

• Day or night walk on the trails close to the hotel (tour hour depends on the arrival time).  

• Dinner

Day 2

• Breakfast

• It’s necessary to bring: Comfortable and light clothes, walking shoes, an extra change of dry clothes, insect repellent, sun block and preferably a water-resistant camera. 

• Return to the hotel. 

• Dinner

Day 4 

• Breakfast

• Mountain Bike tour

• Departure from the lodge.

ECOLOGICAL TOURS 

PACKAGE #3 (3 days / 2 nights) 

Day 1 

• Arrival to the lodge.

• At 7:30 am departure to the Biological Reservation La Marta. The tour includes transport, lunch and bilingual guide.  

• It’s necessary to bring: walking shoes, light and comfortable clothes, binoculars, camera, insect repellent and sun block. 

• Return to the lodge at 3:00 p.m. 

• Dinner 

Day 3 

• At 6:00 am Birdwatching tour.

• Breakfast 

• Departure from the lodge.

PACKAGE #4 (4 days / 3 nights) 

Day 1 

• Arrival to the lodge.

• At 8:00 am departure to the Archaeological Park Guayabo. The tour includes entrance to the park, transport, visit to the Archaeological Museum of the University of Costa Rica, visit to the park and the model farm Pilarica, lunch and bilingual guide. 

• It’s necessary to bring: walking shoes, light and comfortable clothes, insect repellent, sun block and camera. 

• Return to the lodge at 3:00 p.m. 

• Dinner at Cerro Alto Lodge.

Day 3 

• Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. 

• At 7:00 am departure to the Turrialba Volcano. The tour includes transport, entrance to the park, horseback riding, lunch and bilingual guide. 

• It’s necessary to bring: Long pants, walking shoes, sun block, insect repellent, hat or cap and camera 

• Return to the hotel at 4:00 p.m. 

• Dinner 

Day 4 

• Breakfast 

• Walking tour to the Waterfall Monte Claro. The tour includes light drinks and bilingual guide..

EDUCATIONAL TOURS

• Return to the lodge at 3:00 p.m. 

• Dinner 

Day 3

• Breakfast 

• Walking to the Plantation tour at 8:00 am. The tour includes light drinks and bilingual guide.
