BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR:
This is a perfect tour for
the adventurous people who would like to experience nature, the regional
culture and the wonderful views of the Turrialba Valley and the mountain
range while on horseback.
During this ride you will pass through patches of
primary, tropical forest, as well as second growth, small farms planted with
coffee, sugar cane, macadamia nut trees, in addition to open areas where you
will be able to enjoy the most incredible views of the valley and the
countryside.
Animals are common to see,
specially birds like toucans,
parrots, brown jays, tanagers and hawks between others, if you are lucky,
you may be able to see sloth as well as armadillos and river turtles.
During
the trip you will have time to make a stop at a Costa Rican little restaurant to
have a delicious local fruit drink and to stretch your legs. You will be
accompanied by a local farmer of the area who will explain to you many
things about the way of living in the country side and nature.
